Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued an order that requires travelers to wear masks while using any form of public conveyance, including on airlines and in airports nationwide. The order also requires airport operators and workers to wear masks. Federal law now requires wearing a face mask at all times in and on the airport and failure to comply may result in removal and denial of re-entry. Non-compliant individuals may also be subject to criminal or civil penalties for refusing to wear a face mask in the airport or on a flight.

For its part, TSA will not screen any individuals not wearing a mask unless those individuals are specifically exempted from the face mask requirements.

The state-wide executive order to wear a face mask in public spaces is still in effect. Click on this paragraph to read Executive Order D 2020 138 in its entirety.

At DRO, public health and safety is priority number one. We are committed to providing clean, hygienic, and safe facilities for all passengers and employees.  Our custodial staff is maintaining strict cleaning and disinfection of the airport terminal and passenger facilities as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  We've also invested in a number of facility and equipment changes to ensure that the public will remain safe and comfortable while traveling through our airport.
