Dave Woodruff

Dave Woodruff is the current Front of House Manager of 11th Street Station and formerly of El Moro Spirits & Tavern since 2013. Prior to his stint at El Moro, he was with Steamworks Brewing Company since 2006. He received his B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Biology and a Middle Level Endorsement at Kansas State University. Upon graduating, he moved to Colorado and decided to call Durango his home in 2005. While contributing to the community via the Colorado Restaurant Association - Durango Chapter, the Visit Durango Marketing Committee, Homegrown Talent Initiative Advisor and the R.O.A.R. Coalition, he also enjoys rafting, traveling and camping. He currently resides in Durango, Colorado with his wife of 12 years, his 9 year old son, and 7 year old daughter. Additionally, he is also alumni to the Leadership La Plata class of 2015 – 2016 and served on the LLP Curriculum Committee as an advisor from 2016 – 2019.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Dave was a part of the La Plata County Economic Recovery Task Force and served as the Restaurant and Retail Sector Chair. He also worked in concert with other business organizations to get the “5 Star Program” implemented in La Plata County based upon the State of Colorado Framework during the pandemic. Recently, he was awarded Volunteer of the Year from the Durango Chamber of Commerce in 2020, Regional Outstanding Professional from The Colorado Restaurant Association in 2020 and the Chairman’s Award from the Colorado Restaurant Association in 2021 for outstanding leadership and advocating for restaurants in our community.
