Multimodal Transportation
Durango is a community that encourages alternatives to using a single occupancy vehicle. Whether you walk, bike, ride our popular Durango T bus and trolley system, or carpool, our Multimodal Division has resources for you. To the left, you’ll find a wealth of information about getting around Durango by modes other than a single occupancy vehicle.

Survey: Bicycle Friendly Community
The city of Durango has applied to renew its designation as one of the top "Bicycle Friendly Community" cities in the nation. The recognition comes from The League of American Bicyclists founded in 1880.
The Bicycle Friendly America program provides Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond rankings to businesses, communities and universities based on bicycle facilities and programs. There are 488 communities ranked in the nation. Durango is among only 34 with Gold designation. See Colorado and nationwide rankings here.
Community members are invited to provide input by taking a survey. The survey will provide context for the review and decision-making process and valuable feedback for the city from bicyclists in our community.
Take the survey here. Deadline is March 31.
